We birded down river from the city of Requena along Supay Creek the morning of Tuesday, January 17, 2012. I took this photograph as we motored along the Supay to show this area of the upper Amazon's tranquility and beauty. It was a wonderful place to bird. Temperatures were in the low 80's with overcast skies and high humidity.
