The morning of Thursday, January 19, 2012, we birded along Yanallpa Creek, the narrowest and smallest creek that we traversed during our Amazon journey. We were on our way back to our ship, the Aquamarina, to start our return trip of 250 miles back to Iquitos (with the current). This photo will always remind me of the beauty and serenity of the tributary areas we visited. Temperatures were in the mid-80's with clear skies and high humidity.
