We were up and birding early on the morning of Monday, January 16, 2012, along Yarapa Creek, a tributary of the Amazon (South Bank). By the looks of all the activity along the river, we weren't the only ones who were up early to take advantage of the cooler morning weather. Temperatures were in the upper 70's with hazy skies and high humidity.
