This photograph was taken on Hirta, St. Kilda, an isolated archipelago 40 miles west-northwest of North Uist in the North Atlantic Ocean. It was a partly cloudy day with temperatures in the 60's. There was a pair of St. Kilda Wrens nesting near the shore, and we watched them flit back and forth for about thirty minutes.
